Peacekeepers are needed everywhere. Training is available.
Our movement requires nonviolence from all of us if we hope to achieve the mass dissent required to protect democracy. We need more Peacekeepers to help keep things nonviolent by using calming, de-escalation techniques. Volunteer here and training will be provided.
Even if you don't volunteer to be a peacekeeper, train to be a part of the non violent movement
What is a rally "Peacekeeper"?
Rally Peacekeepers are people like you and I. We talk with attendees and primarily keep our eyes and ears open. We watch for potential safety issues. Could be as simple as people being too close to the curb, or a conversation that needs to be de-escalated. We may need to encourage people to walk away from a heated argument or we may need to direct people to first aid or to the restroom! You'll also be aware of the address that everyone is at in case you need to call 911.
